GROOMER'S TIP - SNOW REPORT FOR THE BEGINNING OF DECEMBER

Greetings to mountain sports enthusiasts!
It was so wonderful to start the season in November, and expectations were high. But as life often reminds us, weeks are not identical.
This week in Otepää has turned out to be noticeably warmer than forecasted. Fields and meadows have exchanged their white coats for green once again.
The snow layer on Munakas slopes is satisfactory. So satisfactory, in fact, that we managed to push the first jump of the season at the Café slope. Only the Café slope is open, where there is now also a park line with five obstacles.
At Kuutseka, the Kuutse (chairlift) slope and the ski school slope are open. This means with the same ticket, you can ski or snowboard on three slopes and in the small park. Not too bad considering the current climate.
If you didn't make it to the mountain on the opening weekend, now is a good time to come, as the weather forecast for the next week is not the most encouraging. Of course, we remain positive and keep our fingers crossed that the forecast will change from red to blue again.
Munakas and Kuutseka are now also open on Friday from 2 PM to 8 PM, Saturday from 11 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday from 11 AM to 6 PM.
Low season (Mon-Thu) prices apply to the mountain tickets. An observant viewer might notice that Mon-Thu prices have, in some cases - surprise, surprise - actually decreased and quite significantly in some instances.
Head up, and see you on the slopes!
