GROOMER'S TIP - SNOWREPORT FOR WEEKEND!
Dear Alpine Fans!
This week, Munaka's snowmakers have successfully produced 30 hours of snow, and with any luck, there will be just as much more to come. Compared to a regular workweek, it seems like a pretty solid number, but during snowmaking, the cannons ideally should operate 24/7, which is 168 hours a week. It's better not to talk about temperature. Ideally, it could be -13 to -15C as the actual average, at best was a little below -3°C.
Despite the poor conditions, snowmaking has progressed nicely. The Café slope is now fully covered with a sufficiently thick layer of snow. By Friday, a proper rail line will also be established there.
What awaits this weekend?
- Open longer: Fri 14-20, Sat 10-19, Sun 10-18
- Excellent snow conditions on the Café slope
- Full-length Rail Line on the Café slope
- If the weather forecast holds, the tski school slope will also be open from Saturday
- Ski Passes at Special Rates
- And of course, Munaka Resto delicacies.
In short, it seems the season is picking up pace. We hope it stays that way.
