Dear Alpine Fans!

This week, Munaka's snowmakers have successfully produced 30 hours of snow, and with any luck, there will be just as much more to come. Compared to a regular workweek, it seems like a pretty solid number, but during snowmaking, the cannons ideally should operate 24/7, which is 168 hours a week. It's better not to talk about temperature. Ideally, it could be -13 to -15C as the actual average, at best was a little below -3°C.

Despite the poor conditions, snowmaking has progressed nicely. The Café slope is now fully covered with a sufficiently thick layer of snow. By Friday, a proper rail line will also be established there.

What awaits this weekend?

• Open longer: Fri 14-20, Sat 10-19, Sun 10-18
• Excellent snow conditions on the Café slope
• Full-length Rail Line on the Café slope
• If the weather forecast holds, the tski school slope will also be open from Saturday
• Ski Passes at Special Rates
• And of course, Munaka Resto delicacies.

In short, it seems the season is picking up pace. We hope it stays that way.
