- Consider the prevailing conditions, slope difficulty, and your abilities when descending.
- The use of a helmet and protective gear is recommended.
- Respect and consider fellow skiers and snowboarders – do not endanger others with your behavior.
- Those coming from above must be aware of those below.
- When overtaking, leave enough space between you and the rider in front in case they make an unexpected maneuver.
- When entering a slope, starting a descent, or stopping on a slope, always watch out for both those above and below you.
- Avoid stopping in narrow or limited visibility areas.
- Move to the edge of the slope when stopping.
- If walking, stay only on the edge of the slope.
- Always follow the posted signs and signals. Skiing is prohibited on a closed slope.
